A tribute to Themba Mbuli

In the beginning of 2021, Unmute Dance Theatre lost one of our own. Co-founder and Assosiate Artistic Director of Unmute Themba Mbuli sadly passed on. Again we were reminded of how short life is and the suffering our industry and the world at large has suffered.

For this years festival, Unmute, together with friends, family and colleagues in the arts, will come together to pay tribute to Themba Mbuli, to celebrate his life and give thanks for his contribution and passion to the arts in SA.

Come and join us as we celebrate the ArtsAbility festival 2021 in tribute of Themba from the 1st to the 4th of December.
